I have never claimed to love their music (hence why I don't have the album) but I can see why they made it. The lyrical content is well structured and observationall, their music production is simple, no frills, whoops, and bangs like Oasis before them.
I don't think I will ever buy their album as the life has been sucked out of the songs by the radio.
They did miss the boat a few years back I do agree.
Ah well Another Mercury prize gone till next time
