I kind of walked into that, didn't I?
I know where you're coming from, but really - outwith the CSS modifiables, all we've got there is an extra gradient, which I can really live without. The extra OS overheads from all this glimmer isn't really worth it.
Mind you, saying that - that's my mentality from when I was puttering along on a 256mb machine, many moons ago - not straddling my current 2Gb beast.
