I've been in c-town for over 6 years.
Expect alot of bland corporate work. There's not much in the way of culture or taste, but every once in a while a good band comes through.
The art and design scene is hidden away, and you gotta get to know the people, but once you do, there's some really good artists and designers out here.Toqueboy, I disagree, ACAD is actually a very fine institution. ...the vc program is somewhat mediochre at times though.
But it is clean, safe, sterile and bland.
It's good thing you got a job lined up though, cause this place, unlike some people's opinions is not paved with gold.
However, it is better than Ottawa, even though Ottawa has the sweet, sweet benefit of being close to Montreal.
