final cut has got an excellent keyer.
you can't do junk mattes there thats a bitch
but for previewing an picking out what you need, never use after effects...it needs to render...
it fucks up you workflow.
pick the scenes out, edit them than bring to to after effects for desired keying.my 2 cents.
