I do not remember my settings, but I do not remember settings for skins off.. but I do remember having to tell flash "to add a skin and wich one" as it came by default with nothing on.
I actually found it was way easier to add video on flash 8 than on earlier versions..
it had this very easy to use instruction menu when I imported video.
Maybe because I'm using flash 8 pro? and you have a different version?
very weird..
