    The worker bees have just about put the final touches on the city’s
    newest sweet spot, and when Honey goes public next week,
    scenester-foodies will be buzzing about this most recent
    restaurant/lounge addition to the Meatpacking District/West Village
    ’hood.

    Because this is such an all-things-to-all-people area, Honey’s
    3,000-square-foot restaurant area will likely stay as busy with
    pre-club diners as its backlit 25-foot bar will be with late-night
    cocktailers. Seeing to that in-house competition will be Matt
    Shendell, who’s had a piece of late-night boites like Shampu, and
    former Dos Caminos and Galaxy Global chef Victor Rodriguez, whose
    mid-priced New American menu includes items ranging from Kobe beef and
    duck to paella that’s served in a sushi box. Can’t decide whether to
    socialize or chow down? Do both over an extensive fondue menu where
