    Lots of businesses have been leaving Deep Ellum the past 1-2 years.

    If you go a few blocks north though the Fair Park area isn't bad with:

    -Monkey Bar (tiki bar)
    -Double Wide (trailer themed bar with metal tornado spinning on roof, tornado footage on all the tvs and they serve mostly canned beer)
    -Meridian Room(best food!)
    -Ave Arts (after 2am byob dance parties every sat night)
    -Bar of Soap(Bar with lots of washer/dryers in back so you can get drunk while gettin clean).

    And more lofts, advert firms, photo/art studios are around there.
