    i don't know about you but i think the reason they survived is beacuse they were praying and reading the bible and trusting God...

    In that same vein, they were put in that situation by G-d?

    I always love whenever something great happens to someone they thank G-d, but you never hear them go, "Yea thanks G-d", all sarcastically.

    Or, "I would have saved that kid, but G-d really screwed the pooch on that one."
