fact:
hiphop is the #1 music in this country, [might as well say global]
and it is now industry standard, to find someone who is already making money / has following / got rotation on so many stations / has the most soundscan points...
ect.
the aandr's that used to go grab someone w/ talent dont exist, they do a totally different job, ie 'hey johnny, i got so and so out here in the midwest and he moved this many mixtapes' - and it goes on for every other industry
i listen to michael jackson, prince, and i listened to stevies new album and made an effort to download it. as i did prince and michael, yet i can relate to those two easier than stevie, even tho making good music for him is involuntary...

105.3 which is a clear channel station in PA. play all the good music that i can listen to in the car ... sad to say i didnt find a station like that in CO. but they do have the standard 'jazz' station which is also good

to me, there is no new good, as in a market, there are only selective artists who dont always maintain the longevity, due to industry standards...
they so much into money they cant figure out how to sell music anymore...
i be damned if i buy another peice of media ... i mean i'm broke so buying anything is almost out the question...

my opinion is just that,
but on the real, i dont listen or watch anything...
i stopped downloadin movies for some time, cause its hard to find good one's...
anyway
i dont hate the fact that its nothin out there, it just confirms what i'm doin moreso
one.
