estonia used to be part of the ussr. but that thing broke up ten years ago. next year will be part of eu (maybe??). so from one union to the other...
it's basically situated between finland, russia and latvia. so on the eastern coast of the baltic sea.
tallinn is the capital (north coast). i live now in the second town tartu (200 km south of tallinn). basically its a quiet little university town somewhat like oxford.
- take a peak.
however, i'm going to move to tallinn in a couple of months. gonna drop out of the university and start working full-time (as if i haven't done this for two years already.
my office will be those windows on the second floor. the picture itself is taken some time after WWII. so right in the middle of the old town. and yep, you don't believe how beautiful it actually is ;)
drunk finnish tourists ruin the picture somewhat.... :(
