some people are amazingly thick...
the TO is asking for websites styled like a diary or notebook (so the design looks like a diary or scribbled notebook and so on).
She (i guess) is not asking for online diaries or blogs.... pretty obvious from the 'websites styled as personal diaries / notebooks...' part.
