thanks nt brothers and sisters... she never wanted people feeling sorry for her or hovering. She wanted to keep working and living her life right till the end, and she did, until just around a month or so ago. A few months ago we met her in NY for drinks and dinner a couple of days after she had major abdominal surgery... after dinner we looked over and she was chatting up the owner about having special parties there. After that she went to Las Vegas with her workmates at GQ and put on a huge event. A few weeks after that the doctors told her there was nothing more they could do for her. When her friend Barbara called us this morning we asked about a memorial, and apparently jess didn't want one--she wanted us all to have a party.
