    Out goes the dirty white vest..

    ..in comes a stars'n'stripes patent leather bomber jacket with an eagle stitched on the back, frequent jingoistic allusions and innumerate references to war with 'terrorist forces' and the unquestionable moral superiority of American will (whilst everything around gets blown to shit).
