I worked through school 20-30 hours a week, paid my own bills and was fairly self sufficient. I went to college to "draw pictures" My brother, an engineering major, has hard classes that he must get good grades in so he doesn't have to work except in the summer time when there is no school. My art degree wasn't hard at all, drawing pictures all day was easy. I had plenty of time to work and do other things because I didn't have homework or have to study.
That's what my parents thought.
