  that is my preferred version from now on, kelpie.

  but, see, in my moleskine diary they just use the first letter and you know which one it is from its placement in the list:

  M
  T
  W
  T
  F
  S
  S

  depending on whether or not they'll always be shown together (calendar view or whatever) that's probably the classiest way.
