both my parents were pretty skilled artists..in the sense that they could both draw very well..
i suppose thats where it started..
them teaching me how to draw, and me getting into it...i remember showing them my portfolio around college grad year, and they were blown away...they couldn't believe it...i really impressed them..
a few years later, after having worked in the field for some time, i showed them again...
they both just scratched thier heads..they didn't get what they were looking at...logos, magazine layouts, ads...etc...
it was sort of cool tho, in the sense that my dad just said...son..the work you do now is just so far away from what i understand...i can appreciate it, and i can see that its good..but i don't have any frame of reference to judge it or really understand it...but i'm very very proud of you...
