It's funny everyone form Ohio thinks they know every rockstar from Ohio.
My girlfriends brother used to teach with Bob Pollard and when we saw GBV on the west coast she grabbed him by the arm and said "I'm from Dayton" He just kept on walking and "Me too". It was hilarious!
