Could be lots of reasons but some are simpler than others. When i'm reviewing designers I come across a lot of stuff. Is your covering email/letter full of spelling mistakes or grand statements about "embracing technology and art to create meaningfull interactive solutions which connect with the soul"? You won't get past the fist stage. What type of job do you want? Do you want to design t-shirts all your life or corp websites, say so when you apply. Your site shows work from 2005/2006, where's the rest? A senior needs getting on for 5 years solid work.. Think if your work matches the agencies, so if you cv's full of cool graphics and shirts don't expect an interview at the AKQA's/Pentagrams of this world. It's all good work though, so don't dispare..you just need to find the right approach. D
