doesnt matter where you were if you can demonstrate ideas and executions that prospective employers will be interested in. (and also fit in with the company/people)
id look at smaller agencies doing more creative than corporate work, they may lap this stuff up..
aim for agencies whose output echos what you are doing.. if your applying to corporate design agencies and so on, then your gonna get a similar response all the time.
i can see your work fitting well in a sort of diesle brand/lifestyle brief but most agencies dont have many of those types of clients.
Maybe hunt down some agencies specialise in more younger markets fashion.trend.music clients?
