Colorado Springs and Boulder Colorad > then up to Mount Rushmore > then over Yellowstone > go to Jackson, WY > then go up through Bozeman, Montana/BigSky > then head across montana and go to Glacier National Park > then go through Idaho and alot of crappy areas and head to > Hood River, OR and the Gorge > Portland, OR' > Then to the Coast, Canon Beach, Astoria and visit those coastal towns, > then head up to Seattle.
Taking the route Through Yellowstone and Montana and Oregon is a great route. If you go from Montana to Seattle youll miss alot in oregon.
If you have more time after visiting Yellowstone you could take a long route > head down to Utah and Nevada and through Tahoe, Then head to San Francisco. Then Turn around and drive up to Portland Or then to the beaches, then up to Seattle.
But I recommend going to glacier national park in Montana also if you can.
