    I agree with seph that dance music USED to be better.

    I used to be into dancey stuff and even hardcore stuff like bass generator and die witness etc.
    But going back to the late 80's and early nineties.
    when dance music was TRULY PIONEERING and we saw it as THE FUTURE.
    but the truth is, dance music has hit its peak and has now evened out. The music isnt ground breaking anymore - its ALL THE SAME!
    It hasnt taken us to a higher dimension (well, maybe folk on the E's have been) or evolved further.
    I'd bet a high percentage of folk my age who were into dance stuff back late 80's/early 90's dont actually listen to modern dance stuff cos they think its shite - i bet they've turned back onto guitar music or prefer to sit in and listen to those old Rez mixtapes or listen to their 12"s of 808 state and early underworld stuff.
