My past colleagues have all been sued or been publicly shouted at by my boss for using the company's work for their interviewswithout his consent. Much of my best work is with this company, I can't risk getting fired or jump ship without having somewhere safe to land first.I hate working here so much I have reoccuring dreams about failing my degree. What would you do?

It's simple. I had the same problem a few years ago. From your domain name for your 'normal' portfolio create another domain name from the same host. I know with hostway you can have multiple domain names under the same account.

Anyways, create a new site with all of your work and only give that link out when applying for a job. Put that link on your resume.

Kind of like what I do. I have 2 sites, one I only show when I interview and my normal one that you see linked in my profile.

Also note, I just got hired on at a place 4 weeks ago. When they asked me "can we contact your previous employer" I got pretty scared that if I said no I wouldn't get the job. Truth be told the HR lady told me 99% of people say "No I'd rather you not" as 99% of people have a job and are looking for another. They only ask that question in case you currently don't have a job so they can call to make sure you actually worked where you do.

    Good luck.
