    judged from the outside, the restaurant was pretty ugly, although once inside the garden it was quite pleasant. Staff was pleasant and good-humored. Our waitress wants to move to the west coast, but has started a pet taxi business and this obliges her to stay in Cambridge. We started with a bottle of Prosecco, and ordered mostly appetizers. I retrospect, a good move. The special was a layered composition of fresh mozzarella, tomato, purple basil, fava bean and garlic bud with the ubiquitous balasamic reduction. It was the most appealingly presented dish of the night, and delicious, although not surprising or novel.
