"The embryos funded by H.R. 810 were “created for the purposes of in vitro fertilization...which are spare or in excess of clinical need and in every single case are slated for medical waste.” Only about 10 percent of embryos are adopted — the rest are disposed of. If H.R. 810 passes, they will instead be used to develop potentially live-saving cures for millions of people."

From Castle's letter to Bush (who Bush refused to meet with):
"This legislation does NOT allow funding for the creation or destruction of embryos."Seems pretty clear to me. I think this sums it up on the comments section:
"This only goes to prove that there’s not much difference between the way a conservative looks at the world and the way a seven-year-old does"
It's sad how America has been, or is being, overrun and how far it's putting us behind the rest of the world in medical technology and skills.
Just sad.
