Aspects of what you say are true moth. When the show started I tried to pin some kind of story onto it. I feel that they are not trying to say much (if anything at all) but awakening your senses to the performance that goes on around you. It was more of a dreamland, visually exciting but with no real reason.
As far as the performers are concerned I do tend to agree with you – it did not bother me though, a bit over excited and rough around the edges but you can really sense their passion for the arts. I love the fact that it happened all around you sifting you from place to place.
I bet the health and safety officer had a field day with all their probs though...
I tried not to read about it before I saw it and I had never seen De La Gaurda, I wanted to the show to unravel in front of me and that it certainly did.
