tools nedded:1 can dust-off
level of difficulty: 1-2step1-power down unit
step2- unplug all all monitors and peripherals
step3- move unit to clear work area
step4- pop open side access door
step5-remove plastic inner door/cover
step6-remove fans directions should be on inside of titanium access door
step7- using can of dust-off blow dust from front of unit to rear-emulating the direction the of airflow the g5 uses to cool itself. no point in blowing the dust towards the front because your bound to blow something into an area you can't see and when you reverse the dissasembly steps and power the unit back up it will just suck that dirt back in.
