the longer the easier to stabalize or control, the shorter is better for thrashing around and brings the attention of sharks which is cool!!
get something a lil taller than yourself...go for a G&S [gordon and smith] 6footer. get a wetsuit, and rash guard and some wax...rub your stick real good!!! and then go and wait for some glass!!!
man i miss surfing reef bottom!! the perfect pipelines and glassiest tubes ever!!! and if you get smashed into the reef...ouch ouch ouch!!!
but a perfect break every time...
