you have to remember that most of what they do every day is deal with people who have no computing savvy at all – think of all the PC converts who don't know the first thing about loading a font, or loading MP3s etc.
as long as they recognize that they're talking to a designer that's been on Macs for 15 years when I go in, they're mostly very helpful
except I have to book an appointment online days in frieking advance here in Boston
