nice work. very clean and direct and so easy to use. i like comp #1 the best.
couple things to consider:
- contact link seems to be floating in space. not sure where to put it exactly, but it seems very random as is.
- this is a very minor thing, but the thumbnails are a few px below the top of the featured image. maybe align them across the top.
- and, yeah, that logo... simplifying the lines would help greatly. however, contrary to others, i don't feel it takes away from the design. it's a logo -- it's supposed to be eye-catching. that said, the WAG part seems awkward. any way to take it out of the graphic and have the text stand alone?
- finally, a personal erik meyerish quip: i'd recommend setting a different color for links/action items. i know this isn't amazon.com, but still it might be good to make that purchase button pop a bit -- same for links to other artists, etc. what about using the color from the logo?
