Brilliant.
For me the Euro championships are harder to win than the world cup. There are no duff teams in the euros.
the fact the world cup has such pish teams like Togo, and Iran, debases the competition.
As for Zidane, I think if France had of won and he hadn't of done what he did then, the debate about who was the best player ever would be between Pele, Maradonna and Zidanne.
Got to remember that Maradonna won one and lost one in the final too, and had a love of the marching powder.
As it is he's sits alongside Benckenbauer and Cruff, maybe at No 3 or No 4. Still not bad.
Sad way to end.
I think my abiding mamory of this worl cup is all the shit other than football... sendings off, diving, and play acting.
I hope FIFA elect someone who knows about football and turfs out that fat Blatter twot.
