If I was playing a team mate on an opposing side that team mate becomes the enemy. It is a competition and no competition is won by pulling your punches or crotch stompings. They are after all playing for the world championship. You better bet that I would use every resource at my disposal in order to win it. I would also have more respect as a competitive person if my opponent, team mate or not, did not do me any favors.
