I never understood the huge t-shirts, some of the more thugged out kids wear. goes down to their knees. know what im talking about.

(Jun 30 06, 05:44)I think you just answer the questioin. Their trousers start at their knees so if they only wore regular sized t-shirts then everyone would see their y-fronts.
Hence the t-shirt must reach the knees!
