  hi meeklo...

  clean that on(Press){} part of your button and try put this there:
  "this is assuming you have a frame label called "Nightlife" on your main movie, right?

  on (release) { _root.gotoAndStop("Nightlife");
  }

  and put this line on your frame "Nightlife"

  loadMovie("external.swf", _root.getNextHighestDepth());
