actually i did publicly complain about the amount of defense spending by the us government.
on our talk news radio station here in columbia, they had a government official talking about all the budget cuts happening in missouri...
people were saying they should cut some spending in government offices instead of in schools, roads, etc....
and the guy was like, "oh yea, what gov. office should be cut...because we need them all.."
and i called in and asked why need to keep uping defense spending when it only took us a month to mop up this supposed threat?
there is no fucking reason to spend anymore on military. if you trace the path of military spending and current economics, we begin to see the formulation of an entirely military state. think about....keep dumping money into the military, soon enough if anyone wants a decent job they would have to join the military in some way....
kind of a sneaky little plan...
:)
we don't need half of what we spend in defense...and how quickly and effortlessly we have dispatched the last few "threats" is evident that we could cut defense spending and use those dollars in better places.
but, then what do i know...i'm just a computer geek.
