the bits where it says 'echo "[html tags and variables mixed in here]"; type things...
make them say things like:
echo '[folder title='.$contents]';
Maybe write out the xml that you want to end up with, then go through it and find out which bits are variables, and which you can just literally 'echo/print'..
I might be able to help apart from the fact that Ive been up 40 hrs doing php, xml, flash, laszlo and so on, and have just returned from the kitchen having found that I'd put the coffee pot on, without putting the coffee pot 'in', and had covered a good acreage in precious black, hot coffee, including a bit of the dog, whose newly dished out food I had forgotton, and left on the side, and so was sitting looking up at it, getting scaldingly dripped upon.
