no i decided against it totally for the time being.
the job at coach was for technical designer. it would have been a step backwards both financially and with-in my career status.
in rocawear i am the senior designer for all accessories for both men and women categories. the brand itself runs thru me directly. i have power now that i want to keep and its an endless creative job.
coach is just a name that chicks want something from. plus a technical design position is creative-less or non at all.
at this point to take a gig with coach would hurt my career as i want to be the owner one day down the line. andi am learning everything i can on someone elses dollar until i decide to take my own brand and hit the market with my designs.
so that is where i am today...in charge of an urban brand and able to smoke weed as much as i please.
so it caME down to being able to be who i am and make more money going foward...
its about the dollars right now and coach just isnt at my level.
i wan t to have fun and enjoy the design process not to sit in endless meetings like i would at coach.
also coach doesnt have many hot girls working there and plus its located on 12th ave in manhattan so its not near anything resembling a human being...
blah!!!
i thank everyone's help in giving me advice regarding my choices...it really meant a lot to me!!!
