What's up with whitening toothpaste? That shit irritates my mouth, but for all the gazillion choices in the toothpaste aisle, all but 3 have this magic 'whitening' whatever in it. And since my gf is the one that always remembers the toiletries (if left to my own devices i'd probably wash with sandpaper and linseed oil, i have plenty of that around), we usually end up with some. I'd stop brushing my teeth in protest but thanks to technology i only communicate via AIM messages and glowering looks these days so the boycott would be moot anyways; on top of that i'm mortally afraid of the dentist (i received enough metal in my mouth in my formative years to set off airport metal detectors) so doing anything which may cause me to have another dental procedure is out of hand. I suppose i could just announce a monopoly on toothpaste purchases, but i usually just end up in a supermarket stupor which causes me to come out of the store with twice as many items as i have on my list but having gotten only about half the stuff i actually needed.
And now, after rereading this, i'm this close to deleting it all and putting myself on ignore.
