Mimio, they do indeed, but this could probably be explained in terms of natural protective behavour. They might recognise death in others but not comprehend that it is their inevitable fate too.
Spooky that our DNA varies from a chimp by only 1% yet we have made the giant leap into conciousness.... the fact that we realise we will die one day is the reason why religion was born, IMHO.
What am I talking about, this is an NT thread !
