This philosophical debate has already flown over my head.
The pig is happy, it doesnt know its going to die. Admittedly it shits itself and squeal like fuck on the way into the abatoirs but only because it senses fear of other pigs, not because it thinks its about to die.
Humans are the only animals on the planet that know they are going to die....name me one, I dare you.
