look at it this way as far as the lakers go..
if Kobe didn't shoot all that much they would have never got into the playoffs.
So what do you think the team would rather have?
Regular season experience sharing the ball?
Or
Learning to share the ball in the offseason?
Which is what Kobe and Phil did for the team. They rode Kobe through the regular season and gave the team a taste of the post season. Where we won three games pretty nicely all based on sharing the ball, but could'nt get through.
If Kobe would have 'shared the ball' more during the regular season, the Lakers would have never made it to the post season.
However, I think its pretty damn hypocritical that people blame him for not sharing the ball enough, and then in the phoenix series he does, and when they lose, he gets criticized for not shooting enough.
Its kind of like, you don't have to win every battle to win a way. This season was just a learning experience, and gave the younger Lakers a taste of the post season, and leave them wanting more.
Also, remember Kobe has playoff experience too ;)
and I love dwayne wade, besides him always ending up on the floor after he shoots, he is an awesome player.
But my main point before was mostly about shaq, and thats why laker fans wanted the mavericks. I gauruntee you if shaq wasn't on the heat, Laker fans would have been rooting for the Heat, simply because we really don't like Mark Cuban and his dumbass antics (at times).
