cincode....
believe me...we werent rooting against shaq because we let him go instead of kobe...
it was the best choice we made...and we believe it.. look at it numbers wise through out the season... Shaq wasn't even around most of this season, hell he didn't do much this series...
how many points did he have in game 2? 5? i think it was...
Shaq is decaying NBA matter... if you go back and look at the lakers.. there are a few tune ups we need but we have a team that is young and the potential to be great. weve already proved we can get into the playoffs, and also gave phoenix a run for their money...
so more maturity and the lakers will be on top again... remember the lakers have the second most banners hanging on their ceiling....14...
and you cant compare kobe to shaq, they are 2 different positions... think of it this way.. in a year or 2 this league is gonna be dominated by awesome Gaurds... aka Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Chris Paul, Mcgrady......shaq isn't gonna be able to keep up with all of them, he is already showing his rust..
believe me, the lakers made the best decision.
We were against shaq simply because we didnt want to see him get one before kobe, however, laker fans look at it like this... soon you won't have payton, shaq, or mourning... all key elements to the heat winning this year... now look at kobe ...he is young and he is just coming into his prime..
and i know this really doesnt mean too much in this convo but......
81..... points ;)
Riley isnt that great of a coach for this era either, van gundy would have had the same result if not just as close.
