this is my 12th Audi if I remember correctly, and I haven't had any issues worth mentioning or problems not caused by apres-warranty tuning.
Problems across the pond are usually the result of the americanization of the cars, such as the suspension being switched out to a floatier version and their low octane gas - the crappiest octane in europe is super duper premium in the us.
