A friend of mine, programmer specializing in cryptography says he has 3 passwords, for 3 levels of security. One is for money related things (banking, domains), one for quite important, but not financially threatening stuff and one for all less important logons.
This way you only have 3 passwords to remember, and know not to use your paypal password to register for another new hip beta web 2.01 ajaxesque tool you'll never use anyway.
