i saw this coming too and i'm sorry to say that.
sometimes you just can't give people free money and expect them to do the right thing.
what FEMA should have done was give cards to specific places. supermarkets. drug stores. home depot. things like that. fuck. if i had a grand i'd probably be stupid with it too if everything i ever owned was gone and i had nothing anyways.
it's heartbreaking really.
