not to bust the 'art' bubble mentioned here, but ACAD is a joke, and the art galleries here are even worse...
sorry...had to get that out...art does not thrive in calgary.
point form things to consider:
- there is a lot of work here if you have skills.
-all the work here is corporate
-calgary is like walking into a bay catalogue
-it thinks that it's more cosmopolitan than it is
-way too expensive for a city that's still shy of 1 million people
-clean
-huge police presenceother than that...it's a small city...it's probably a little more fun than ottowa, but don't look for any of the culture that ottowa has and all of a sudden you're a long ways from montreal and TO.
it's okay here though...with global warming, winters are getting better.
