If it's of any concern to you, I just bought a Lumix TZ1 yesterday, looks like a pretty nifty camera.
5 MP, and it's the smallest camera with a 10X optical zoom. Some new gizmos inside that use prisms to focus and allow the 10X zoom to be housed in a much smaller place.
