I agree with TaraTara,
tell her to shit or get off the pot. If you let her prance around having it both ways then she'll get used to the idea that she can dangle you on a string as long as she wants.
You two have already decided to get married so either do it or don't. This wishy-washy taking a break shit is not healthy for either of you.
