this reminds me of the time that this kid from the advertising degree at my art school wanted to go to this hip, arty' london club night for his birthday. Most people on my course went each week. He was a bit of a chav.
He and his friends rolled up to the club in a limo they hired for the night wearing suits. They were promptly turned away.
Everyone else in the queue was wearing less smart clothes.
I guess advertising is different to design. I've got an interview tomorrow and I'm just going to wear what I wear to work – jeans, a tshirt etc.
