i have tested/tried a few out, netvibes and protopage seem the best,
after trying to use it for a few days it got pointless (for me) - i spent more time playing around with it rather than using it for its purpose hehe
I'm sure others will find it useful.
the google toolbar and a little javascript favbar i made, works for me.
