Ooooh man! I hope you feel better soon! Did the guy stop and have insurance? You really should have him pay for any medical expenses. A friend of mine was hit like that and didn't realize that years later it really turned into an on going medical problem thats has drained his savings. You shouldn't have to pay for some person's lack of attention.
However, i think suing people for crazy amounts of money is a little bit out of control.
Somebody going on the other side of the road hit me today and took my side mirror clear off. Thank the lord they didn't clip the body of my car at all, just the mirror -- and it flying off didn't bounce of the body. It is going to cost me 750 to fix though. Double thank god my mom decided she'd take care of it -- which was totally an unexpected gift but a welcome one.
I'm still in shock. It was some city truck.. I'm not sure what kind -- or maybe the electric or gas company. Too bad those people drive like maniacs and are, more often than not, totally stoned or drunk.
